Rules are fully configurable pre-event, including species, rounding, and eligibility.

Can competitions be private?

Yes. Private, invite-only competitions are fully supported for restricted participation.

What happens if a fish is misidentified?

In the unlikely event that a fish in misidentified or misentered, catches can be amended by the catcher, reported by fellow competitors, and revised by administrators. All prospective winners are also reviewed manually.

Do anglers need SnapCatch accounts?

Yes. All anglers go through a simple onboarding to create an account so that all catches and activity can be attributed and identifiable to the participant.
